Benefits of the Community Leadership Accelerator

From the hearts and minds of some of the 2020-21 Cohort members:

• The CLA was supportive and absolutely lived up to the "accelerator" description! This program helped me to gain confidence in my leadership abilities and that I am on the right track towards Executive Leadership.
• This program exceeded my expectations.  The program created an intentional and safe space for sincere conversation regarding the challenges of leadership and provided me with a range of tools for personal assessment and growth aimed at supporting my development as a leader.
• It has been one of the most valuable experiences of my life and at the best time of my life.  Learning new and different approaches to leadership is invaluable.
• It was a better experience than I ever could have imagined, especially with the initial retreat. I really did not know what to expect going into the program, and I'll admit I had some skepticism based on previous experiences. It provided the necessary space and set of conditions to help me deal with some challenges--both in my work and personal life, and for that I'm especially grateful.
• My strongest take away, and I was very surprised at this, was my heart felt connection to my colleagues. It did not matter whether we were in-person or on a Zoom call, I always felt a "heart to heart" connection with my peers. It even surprised me at times when I found myself emotional because of these connections.
